Svetlana Svetlichnaya became the winner of The Bride of 2006 Republic Online Contest and the owner of the necklace with brilliants provided by Dragozennosti Yakutii LLC .

The title The 1 st Vice-bride of 2006 went to Praskovia Dyachkovskaya. The third position was reserved by Oksana Makarova.
Apart from major nominations, there was Audience Sympathy Award given by a most of spectators in a real show on Valentine's Day. Nadezhda Obolkina managed to gain a majority vote and the title. Other finalists received special gifts from sponsors.
Irina Andreeva, an event manager, said that 92 ladies took part in the online contest. Any bride who entered into a marriage in 2006 was legal to participate.
Online voting had two phases. The preliminary took place on Jan. 20 30. The final was held on Feb. 1 5. On Valentine's Day winners were announced and Audience Sympathy Award holder was defined by show of spectators' hands.
The event was initiated and arranged by Civilian Registrar's Office of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
