Alternative beauty contest based on online polling has finished in Yakutia.
What's new this time?
There will be 10 finalists. Seven of them will be defined on the basis of online voting results. Other places must be givien to the winners of small contests such as One Minute Fame Video, Creative Body Art and The Best Participant's Blog.
The 2009 Miss Virtual Yakutia winner will be granted with a new crown designed by the general sponsor Zoloto Yakutii (The Gold of Yakutia) Jewellery Company, travel for two persons to the Republic of Korea, 1 million Korean wons and a magnificent mink coat.
SCHEDULE
Applying: till January 28, 2009.
Elimination matches: February 2009. Site visitors are to choose beauties-finalists for the next stage.
Interactive show: the end of February. Finalists will live in a hotel, and site visitors may see them taking photo session, training, chatting, etc.
Final stage: March of 2009. Ten ladies will participate in various public events to display themselve and earn people's love.
Final polling: March of 2009.
Awarding ceremony: March 7, 2009.

2009 Miss Virtual Yakutia Winners
This time the online beauty contest winner is 16-year-old Lida Cherenova (portfolio). She is the owner of the crown made especially by the Gold of Yakutia. Anastasia Sanitarova (portfolio) became Vice Miss, Lena Ochirova deserved the title "Miss Ona+".
