Yegor Borisov is Dmitry Medvedev's candidate for Yakutia's President
Kremlin.ru informs, the Russian president Dmitry Medvedev submitted Yegor Borisov’s candidacy for consideration by the Legislative Assembly (Il Tumen) of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Yegor Borisov's Biography
Born on August 15, 1954. In the village of Churapcha, YASSR.
1971 – 1974. Worked as a maintenance man in the Churapchinsky regional unit “SelKhozTekhnika” (deals with agricultural equipment).
1979. Graduated from the Mechanization Faculty of Novosibirsk Agricultural Institute with bachelor degree in mechanical engineering.
1979 – 1991. Worked as a shop head, manager of the Churapchchinsky regional unit “SelKhozTekhnika,” 1st Deputy Chief of Churapchchinsky Regional Administration of Agriculture, 2nd Secretary of Churapchinsky Regional Committee of the CPSU, and Chairman of Churapchinsky Regional Legislative Assembly.
1991. Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Concurrently, worked as YakutAgroTekhService Unit CEO.
1992 – 1998. Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), 1st Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
1998 – 2000. Minister of Agriculture and Purchases of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
1997 – 2000. Director of Yakutsk Agriculture Scientific Research Institute.
2000 – 2002. Director of Yakutsk Agriculture Scientific Research Institute.
Feb. 2002. Appointed 1st Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Feb. 2003. Appointed Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Feb. 2007. Reappointed Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
