An earthquake measuring 5.3 points occurred
An earthquake measuring 5.3 points occurred in the Republic of Yakutia (Sakha) on Tuesday morning, at 06:30 local time.
According to the Yakutsk seismic station, the earth jolts were feld in the city of Tynda. However, there were no negative consequences. The shifsts of the Earth's crust occurred at a depth of ten kilometres in a thinly populated area.
The US Geophysical Service has reported that the epicenter of the Yakutia temblor was at a point that was 320 km south of the town of Olekminsk and 325 km to the northeast of the populated locality Nagorny.
